PLOFLON® PTFE mesh fabric - open, stable, temperature-resistant

PLOFLON® PTFE mesh fabric combines the stable structure of glass fibre sinew with a PTFE coating - the result is an open-mesh fabric with mesh sizes from 1×1 mm to 4×4 mm that combines high air permeability with excellent non-stick properties. The material is designed for industrial conveyor belts, dryers, cooling chambers and screen printing and textile dryers where both mechanical robustness and thermal stability are required.

PLOFLON® PTFE mesh can be used as a carrier layer, for example to support conveyor processes in drying ovens or as an open, structure-forming belt in cardboard or textile machine environments. It ensures a constant flow of air and material while allowing temperatures from -140 °C to +260 °C (up to +300 °C for short periods). The PTFE coating ensures that dirt, adhesives or industrial residues do not stick and can be easily removed - this significantly increases process and operational reliability.

Technical profile and mesh variants

  • Mesh sizes: 1×1 mm, 2×2 mm, 4×4 mm
  • Widths up to max. 1850 mm, any length
  • Basis weights: approx. 200 g/m² to over 500 g/m² (depending on structure)
  • Temperature resistant: -140 °C to +260 °C, short-term up to +300 °C
  • PTFE coating for non-stick and easy cleaning

Application areas at a glance

In the Textile and screen printing industry the open-mesh fabric allows uniform drying and fixing of printing inks and fibres. In Drying and cooling systems it ensures optimised air circulation and prevents hotspots through better material distribution. Also in Packaging and conveyor technology it impresses with its easy cleanability and long-term process reliability - especially in environments with high temperatures or media contact.

Why professional PLOFLON® PTFE scrim?

The combination of reaction-inhibiting PTFE coating, stable glass fibre core structure and optimised mesh structure makes the fabric a reliable solution for demanding processes. PLOFLON® supplies the mesh fabrics "Made in Germany", manufactured to tight tolerances, with technical documentation and prompt delivery. If required, customised cuts or rolls in specific lengths and widths are available - including support from an experienced technical customer service team.
