PLOFLON® PTFE-Zone tapes are a user-orientated development from our premium range, with a central uncoated area and an adhesive area coated with very high quality silicone adhesive on both outer sides, suitable for high temperature ranges up to 260 degrees. The absence of adhesive in the centre zone of our Zone tape also allows for a desirable and much faster heat transfer. In addition, the areas coated on the outer sides with heat-resistant silicone adhesive are covered with masking tape to protect the adhesive surface.
Only high-quality, tried-and-tested materials are used in the manufacture of our PLOFLON® PTFE-Zone-Tape Premium products are used.
PLOFLON® PTFE-Zone-Tape are used especially in applications where it is important that the silicone adhesive does not come into contact with the heating element, or to protect the sensitive components of a packaging or heat-sealing machine, such as silicone foam or silicone rubber mats etc.. They therefore serve as protection between the hot surface of the heating element and the material that is to be sealed or heat-sealed at very high temperatures during a packaging process.
PLOFLON® PTFE-Zone-Tape is available in thicknesses of approx. 0.115mm, 0.125mm and 0.140mm, whereby the desired width is predetermined by your application. We are very variable in this respect. PLOFLON® PTFE Zone Tape is mainly produced in thicknesses of 115mm (235g/m²), 0.125mm (255g/m²) and 0.140mm (296g/m²). However, all our PLOFLON® PTFE Zone Tapes always a customised product, manufactured according to your individual specifications.
