These PLOFLON® Silicone mats are made of pure silicone and manufactured under strict conditions. They have a glass fibre core and a specially sealed surface with anti-stick technology, which prevents the silicone mat from expanding and sticking when heated, for example. After use, it is recommended that the PLOFLON® Wash the baking mat thoroughly with warm water and a little washing-up liquid and keep it as grease-free as possible. Then dry and store rolled up, not folded or creased. Our PLOFLON® Baking mats are not cutting boards or cutting surfaces and are therefore not cut-resistant. Cutting with a knife would inevitably damage the surface of the baking mat.
