PLOFLON® high-performance PTFE films - flexible, robust, temperature-resistant

PLOFLON® PTFE films are technical all-rounders for demanding industrial applications. They are made of pure polytetrafluoroethylene and offer a mirror-smooth surface with excellent non-stick and sliding properties. Whether as a non-adhesive film, as a self-adhesive solution or as an antistatic variant - PLOFLON® supplies precisely manufactured films that perform convincingly in mechanical engineering, process engineering and laboratories.

PLOFLON® PTFE films are already available in thin thicknesses (from 0.085 mm). High-quality versions are characterised by high tear resistance and dimensional stability. They can withstand temperatures from -200 °C to +260 °C (even up to +270 °C for special versions), have low thermal expansion, high chemical resistance and electrical insulation properties. The surfaces are dirt-repellent and easy to clean - an advantage in clean rooms, medical technology or for continuous use in transfer and sealing processes.

Areas of application and technical advantages at a glance

In production, PLOFLON® PTFE films are used as a separating layer on heating rollers, transfer presses, thermal printing machines and as a protective layer in gluing or coating processes. They also fulfil their function reliably as linings for hoppers, chutes or conveyor belts. PLOFLON® PTFE films once again demonstrate their technical benefits wherever process reliability, hygiene or minimal friction are required.

Variants for special requirements

• Non-adhesive standard films: Regularly provided with a glass fibre core, they offer extra mechanical stability with high heat tolerance
• Self-adhesive films: Equipped with silicone or optional acrylic adhesive, they allow quick installation and temperature-resistant adhesion up to +260 °C
• Antistatic films: Black, conductive surface prevents electrostatic charging in sensitive industries such as electrical or semiconductor technology

PLOFLON® stands for technical precision. The PTFE films are manufactured with tight tolerances and consistent quality. Standard widths range up to 1,000 mm or 1,500 mm, material thicknesses cover a wide spectrum from less than 0.1 mm up to 0.6 mm. Deliveries are available at short notice, accompanied by technical assistance from experienced support staff.
